Land Rover Service – 2013 Freelander 2
The customer brought his Land Rover to the Cartisan Preferred Workshop. After he reached, the Adviser took the car for a test drive to ensure that there was a comprehensive understanding of the Freelander 2’s condition.
After the test drive was completed, the technician parked the Freelander 2 in the service bay. He then lifted the car up with the help of a two post lift.
Next, the technician lifted the Freelander 2 so that he could remove the engine shield from underneath the engine block. The technician drained out the engine oil completely by unscrewing an engine oil drain nut. He removed the engine oil filter from underneath and replaced it with a brand new oil filter from Mann Filters.
The technician removed the cabin air filter from the inside the cabin and cleaned it and placed it back.
The technician removed all 4 wheels of the Land Rover. In the front, the technician removed the brake pads from the brake calipers and inspected them. There brake pads had adequate life in them so the technician cleaned them and placed it back in the brake caliper.
For the rear, the technician removed the brake pads from the brake calipers. He observed that the brake pads and rotors were completely worn out.. He replaced the worn out brake pads with brand new Brembo ones. The workshop recommended the customer to get the rear rotors faced which was done successfully.

The adviser then plugged a scanning device to the OBD2 port of the Freelander 2 to run diagnostics. The diagnosis showed that no error was found on the car’s electronic control module.
