Skoda Rapid Brakes replacement
Upon reaching the customer’s location, the car was inspected, the bonnet was popped open and the work was underway.
The brake reservoir cap was opened. The left front wheel was then removed.
The brake caliper was unmounted from the brake rotor by removing the caliper pins. The caliper pins help clamp the caliper body to the brake rotor.
Once the caliper was unmounted, the brake pads were removed. After removing the pads, the brake rotor was removed.
A brand new brake rotor from Hella was then mounted onto the wheel hub, followed by the brake caliper.
Before fitting brand new Brembo brake pads to the calipers, the brake piston was decompressed with the help of a c-clamp.
The same process was carried out for the front brake pads and rotors on the right side.
Finally the car was then lowered to the ground and taken for a test drive to confirm that the work was carried out successfully.
