2012 Audi A4 Brembo Brake Pad Replacement

2012 Audi A4 Brembo Brake Pad Replacement

Cartisan recently carried out an Audi A4 Brake Pad Replacement using Brembo brakes. The model was a 2012 A4 TDI. The car had clocked around 40,500 km on the dash.

The on-board computer of the Audi A4 warned the customer that the brake pads were due for replacement. Along with the brake pads, the brake rotors also required replacement since the surface of the rotors were scored badly.

The Cartisan Service Team carried out a preliminary inspection from which it was determined that the following parts required replacement

  • Front Brake Pads
  • Rear Brake Pads
  • Front Brake Rotors
  • Rear Brake Rotors

The Cartisan Service team arrived at the customer’s location at the scheduled date and time.

The technician fits a new Brembo Drilled brake rotor onto the wheel hub. He places the brake caliper onto the drilled Brembo brake rotor and fits the Brembo brake pads into them. He closes brake caliper cover is and places the wheel back onto the front wheel hub.

Next, the technician removes the rear wheels. He disconnects the rear brake caliper from the brake rotor and removes the brake pads from it. The technician then removes the brake rotor itself from the wheel hub.

He places a brand new plain Brembo rear brake rotor onto the wheel hub. After this, he fits the brake calipers onto the brake rotor and fits new Brembo brake pads into them. The technician then places the caliper cover onto the calipers and screws it in place. He then mounts the rear wheel onto the wheel hub.

Finally, the technician lowers the car to the ground and the Cartisan Service adviser takes the car out for a test drive to confirm that the work was carried out successfully.
