VW Polo Service process
Work began at the engine bay where the air filter was removed and replaced with a brand new genuine air filter.
Next, the engine oil was drained out from underneath the car by unscrewing the engine oil drain nut from the oil sump. After this was done, the oil filter was removed and replaced with a brand new genuine VW oil filter.
The engine block is then topped up with 5w-40 synthetic oil from Mitasu. Approximately 4.5 liters of oil was consumed.
Next, the cabin filter which is located behind the glove compartment of the car is removed and replaced with a brand new air filter from Man Filters.
VW Polo Brakes replacement
Each of the wheels was then removed. For the front wheels, the brake pads and brake rotors were removed and replaced with Brembo Brake Pads and Brembo Brake Rotors. A C-clamp is also used to decompress the brake pistons inside the brake calipers. This is done in order to better accommodate the new Brembo brake pads and rotors. These pads and rotors offer superior braking performance and last longer than the regular brake pads and rotors that are fitted to a Volkswagen Polo.
The rear brake drums are removed and the brake shoes are cleaned with sand paper.
The coolant levels are checked and topped up.
The car is then lowered to the ground and taken for a test drive to confirm that the work was carried out successfully.
