The Cartisan service team arrived at the customer’s location at the scheduled date and time.
The car was raised up with the help of a jack. First, the engine oil flush from Mitasu was poured into the engine block and the engine was cranked so that the oil flush could circulate inside the engine block. The purpose of using engine oil flush is to remove carbon deposits that may have accumulated inside the engine block. This improves the effectiveness of the new engine oil that will be poured into the block.
After the engine was switched off, the air filter was removed and replaced with a brand new Hyundai genuine air filter.
Next, the engine oil was drained out completely from the engine by removing the engine oil drain nut which is located underneath the engine block. The oil filter is then removed and replaced with a brand new Hyundai genuine oil filter.
The engine block was then filled up with approximately 3.5 liters of engine oil and the engine was cranked and left to idle.
The coolant reservoir was then topped up with green coolant from Delphi.
After the work inside the engine bay was completed, the wheels of the car were removed one by one. The brake pads were removed from the front brake calipers and cleaned and placed back. The brake drums in the rear were removed, and the brake shoes were cleaned and sanded.
The car was then lowered to the ground and taken for a test drive in order to confirm that the work was carried out successfully.
