Cartisan recently received a service request for a Mercedes-Benz C250 CDi. The car required a regular service with filter changes and fluid replacements.
After the customer approved the quotation, the car was picked up and taken to the closest Cartisan Preferred Workshop in Delhi.
The bonnet was popped open and the work began.
First the air filter was removed from the air filter housing. A new air filter from Mahle was installed into the housing.
Next the engine oil filter was removed from the engine block. A new oil filter from Mahle was installed in its place.
The engine oil drain nut was removed from underneath the engine block and the oil was drained out completely.
New Fully Synthetic Castrol Edge 5W-40 Engine oil was poured into the engine block. The W204 C250 consumes around 7.5L of engine oil.
Unlike German rivals such as Audi and BMW, the Mercedes C250’s fuel filter is located inside the engine bay. The fuel filter is removed and replaced with a brand new fuel filter from Mahle.
While the filters were being replaced, the 4 wheels were removed and the brake pads were removed from the brake calipers. Brake pads for all 4 wheels were then replaced with brand new ones as they were worn out.
Finally, the cabin air filter was removed and replaced with a brand new one from Mahle.
The 4 wheels were bolted on in the meantime and the engine was cranked and the car was taken for a test drive to confirm that all systems were ok.
