This article is written to describe, briefly, how Cartisan carried out an Audi A4 Brake Pad Replacement service.
Audi A4 Brake Pad Replacement – 2014 35TDI
The Mechanic and I recently replaced the brake pads for an Audi A4 35TDI. We arrived at the customer’s place equipped with all the necessary tools to carry out the job. We were to install Brembo rear brake pads for the Audi A4.
After loosening the wheel lug nuts, the Mechanic lifted the A4 up with the help of a hydraulic jack. He propped a stand under the chassis to secure the A4 and then, got to work. Work started on the left side of the A4. The Mechanic removed the rear wheel to reveal the brake calipers and the brake rotor. He unscrewed the brake caliper bolts and removed the brake pads from the brake caliper brackets.
The Mechanic opened a new box of Brembo rear brake pads for the A4. He took out the brake pads from the box and installed it into the brake caliper brackets. He placed the brake caliper cover back onto the caliper bracket to complete the brake caliper assembly. The assembly is secured by tightening the brake caliper bolts and then the Mechanic mounted the wheel back onto the car.
The Mechanic lowered the car to the ground. After conducting a series of routine tests carried out based on our Cartisan inspection checklist, I took the car out for a test drive and confirmed that the brakes were working well.
